Foundation donates 10 AED to Livingston Parish

The foundation will be speaking at Holy Name of Jesus on March 3, 2010, Keep the Beat CPR Training Classes in The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center on March 13, 2010. Two sessions at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

The foundation will be participating in the block party on St. Patricks Day March 17th from 10:00 AM to 6PM., and we will have a booth at Ecole BilinQue's School Fair Fete Francaise, on March 20, 2010, 821 General Pershing St. New Orleans, La, from 10:30 AM until 7:00 PM.

The Chad Barcia Athlete Awareness Foundation has donated automated external defibrillators (AED).

March 23, 2007
Holiday Inn Express on Convention Center Blvd. in downtown Nw Orleans received an AED from the foundation. This AED replaced the one that was stolen during hurricane katrina. Prior to the theft, the AED was used by a Holiday Inn Express Employee to successfully resuscitate a passerby. To read the press release click here.

September 21, 2006
The foundation donated an AED to Holy Name of Jesus School New Orleans. Chad attended Holy Name of Jesus from kindergarden through 7th grade.

August 22, 2005
De La Salle High School; New Orleans. Chad's Alma Mata, received two AEDS from the foundation and Cardiac Science

August 15 & 16, 2006
In conjunction with Oschner's Children's Cardiology Department, the first Echocardigography Testing of De La Salle's football team was performed. Four players were found to have minor heart anomalies.
